Tonight’s UFC 300 prelims features a huge fan favorite contest between Bobby Green and Jim Miller.
Jim Miller was looking to make history tonight with having previously won at UFC 100 and 200. A win tonight meant that Miller would solidify his legacy as no man or woman has before in this company. To do this he had to walk through fire against the always durable and tough Bobby Green, who is looking to get back on track and put his recent loss behind him. This fight could have headlined a fight card with how intense the matchup was.
Despite being forty-years-old, Jim Miller has proven he can still compete and win among the elites of the sport. With back-to-back stoppage wins over Jesse Butler and Gabriel Benitez. On the other hand, Green comes into the fight after suffering a brutal first round knockout to Jalin Turner.
Bobby Green was in complete control of the UFC 300 showdown, but Miller did hurt him in the first round. Green took over and completed dominated the next two rounds leaving Miller in his own blood. The fight was closed to being stopped at the end, but the OG Miller’s toughness was able to prevail until the final bell.
