Nathaniel Wood Puts on a Clinic

Nathaniel Wood puts on a clinic and defeats Charles Rosa. He just couldn’t miss. Perhaps the best we have seen from Wood, Featherweight looks like the place for “The Prospect” to prosper. Not only striking he managed to defend takedowns and survive a deep submission attempt.

Exceptional distance management, his hands couldn’t miss. His main weapon of attack which was like a laser-focused piston was his low calf kick. Using it throughout the fight, Rosa’s leg was chewed up. He landed more strikes against Charles than anyone else he has faced in his UFC career. Taking him off his feet with it several times. Featherweight might have a new name claiming the ranks very soon.

What’s next?

Now a featherweight with a win under his belt. We expect this to be the start of a long and successful career for Nathaniel Wood at 145 lbs. Beating a UFC mainstay like Charles Rosa proves his level and that he belongs. Looking to find his pre and early UFC form, this is the best possible start for doing that.

In another division full of fun fighters. There will be no shortage of bangers for “The Prospect” to compete in next. Next up it would be ideal for him to fight another name that has plenty of experience before moving onwards and upwards to the top 15.

Now at Featherweight where does Nathaniel Wood go next?
