Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor put on a spectacle before, during and after their fight. Footage has now emerged which has revealed the conversation between the Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dana White. This was in the immediate aftermath of UFC 229.
Back on October 7th 2018, Khabib Nurmagomedov defeated Conor McGregor at UFC 229. This was due to a 4th round neck crank.
Khabib Nurmagomedov Desperate for the Belt to Be Put On Him
Following a crazy series of events, which even included a doly being thrown through a bus window and one of the most memorable press conferences of all time. Khabib Nurmagomedov produced a truly sensational performance when he faced off against Conor McGregor. Being able to use his immense grappling ability, honed through years of sambo training, the gifted fighter was able to ragdoll his rival. This was en route to him being able to lock in a fearsome submission that forced the Irishman to tap
However, Khabib getting the victory should have put an end to the feud between the two. This was anything but the end with Nurmagomedov reacting to a comment made by one of McGregor’s team. This then resulted in him jumping over the octagon. This impulsive move would then prompt a massive brawl. This included members of the legend’s entourage entering the cage and fighting with Conor McGregor.
Due to the trouble after the fight Dana White feared that wrapping the title around Khabib’s waist could make things go even worse. Footage which has been captured by the UFC has shown the promotions president saying;
“This is what I believe, if I put this belt on you, everybody is going to start throwing s**t into the octagon.”
Khabib replied: “Brother, I am ready for this.”
Suggesting something very important Dana White said “Pointing out something very important, White insisted: “Other people might get hurt.”
