The UFC will take place once again inside the APEX for an intense main event between two exciting middleweights. Brendan Allen will look to avenge a loss against Chris Curtis from their first fight way back in 2021.

With Marvin Vettori pulling out of his fight against Brendan Allen, the MMA fight fans are treated with an interesting matchup that makes the fight card that much sweeter.

Marvin Vettori would have been a big step up for Allen, and a win over a big name like Vettori along with the winning streak he is on would have propelled him into the title picture. Unfortunately for Brendan Allen that won’t be the case, but instead he has a golden opportunity to show Chris Curtis that he has evolved since their first meeting where Curtis got the second-round finish and got back that loss.

Chris Curtis will look to play spoiler and go 2-0 against Brendan Allen. Curtis knows he has the power to finish Allen after their first fight, and by taking the fight and with a potential win he could quite possibly steal the momentum that Brendan Allen has been riding since their last fight. A win here on short notice for Curtis could be the spark he needed to steer a path on the road to title contention.
