The fight between Michael “MVP” Page and Shara Magomedov was an exciting showcase of Page’s striking and movement against Magomedov’s grit and pressure, with Page dominating throughout most of the contest.

MVP Establishes Control with Fluid Striking in Round 1

The fight would begin with both fighters feeling each other out. Michael Page adopted his signature karate stance, throwing a couple of quick high kicks, and the crow responded with chants alternating between “MVP” and “Shara”. Both of these fighters exchanged jabs, but it was Page who made a strong impression with a flurry of strikes that Knocked Magomedov off balance. Page followed up with a clean right hand and continued to press the attack against the cage. As the round progressed, Magomedov landed a few leg kicks, but Michael Page would answer with a stunning spin kick to the chin, closing the round with confidence.

Michael Page Dominates Rounds 2 & 3 as Magomedov Struggles to Keep Up

Then going into the 2nd round, Michael Page appeared even more comfortable in his middleweight debut. He showcased his reach advantage, landing an oblique kick and quick right hands while staying elusive with some smooth footwork. Shara Magomedov would then struggle to land significant strikes, and despite his attempts, Michael Page continued to counter effectively and control the clinch. A jumping knee to the body from Michael Page added to his dominance.

Shara Magoemdov’s corner urged him to then go out and push for a finish in Round 3. However, Michael Page’s precision and movement kept him at bay. Michael Page landed a crushing flying knee early and displayed superior striking as Magomedov failed to find his rhythm. Though the two exchanged hard shots in the final moments, including a brutal upkick from Michael Page, Shara Magomedov couldn’t close the gap and ended the round on top without mounting any real offence. Michael Page’s skill and control earned him a clear victory as he remained in charge throughout the entire fight.
