The UFC returns to action this weekend for a fight night at the Apex headlined by Song Yadong and Ricky Simon as both bantamweights look to make a statement. Yadong looks to get back in the win column after his defeat to Cory Sandhagen last September, while Simon will attempt to make it six wins on the bounce in his push towards gold. Tonight’s main event has come as a short-notice five-rounder since the UFC postponed it from last week’s co-main event spot. The co-main event spot this weekend has Brazilian prospect Caio Borralho take on Polish contender Michał Oleksiejczuk in what should be an exciting fight. Barralho is 3-0 since joining the UFC from the contender series and looks to put ranked middleweights on notice with a win over the much more experienced Oleksiejczuk. Both fighters are very well-rounded, so it will be interesting to see who leaves with their hand raised in this one.
