Paul Felder has teased a return to the Octagon after seeing The Korean Zombie’s final fight. Felder has confirmed that he is back in the USADA testing pool, which means a return to the UFC is very likely. The American fighter is a popular name with fans, which means he could attract some quality opponents. Looking at the potential options for him it is exhilarating.

Paul Felder VS Benoit Saint-Denis

Benoit Saint-Denis is a force within the lightweight division. The Frenchman is on quite the run inside the UFC octagon. He’s coming off a win against Thiago Moisés, who is a tough outing for any opponent. Saint-Denis is a highly entertaining fighter who is very powerful and can finish the fight at any time. The 27-year-old has a professional record of 12-1 with one no-contest.

As he is French, the UFC will look to get him into some high-profile matchups sooner rather than later. It may be because the UFC may be looking to create another French superstar alongside Cyril Gane and Manon Fiorot. Felder could be the perfect opponent to help introduce Saint-Denis to an international audience, as a win over him would have a lot of credibility. On the other hand, if Felder were to beat the Frenchman, it would show he is ready to be a top contender again.

Felder VS Kevin Holland

Kevin Holland has made quite the impact on the UFC over a short period. Holland is known for his flashy performances and intriguing personality. He has fought some top names in the company. For example, Stephen Thompson, Michael Chiesa, and Santiago Ponzinibbio. The American fighter has a professional record of 25-9 with 21 finishes. Holland is always in a fantastic bout, with his battles always being a fight-of-the-night contender. He has shown a willingness to fight anybody throughout his career. Due to his performances, he has endeared himself to the UFC fans. It means he will always be someone to contend with in the welterweight division. A fight with Felder could attract many eyeballs; whoever is victorious will have big things in store for them.

Felder VS Tony Ferguson

Both Felder and Tony Ferguson have great legacies in MMA. Felder and Ferguson have both spent a long time with the UFC. The two have never squared off inside of the Octagon. A win would only do a little for the victor regarding rankings. However, it would be a good test to see where Felder is on his return. If he can perform well against Ferguson, it proves he’s ready to compete with higher competition. Furthermore, they are both fan favourites, and a clash would make many fans very happy.

It is safe to say whoever faces Felder if he were to return, it will draw a lot of interest. There is always going to be a lot of hype around it.
