Skye Nicolson has had her next opponent revealed for a homecoming fight in Australia.
Nicolson is set to face Tiara Brown on the undercard of George Kambosos Jr’s Australia card.
The news was revealed via an interview with Nicholson on the Ade and Ariel show on Dazn.
The Australian-born fighter has expressed interest in chasing down Amanda Serrano in a women’s superfight.
She has also said Tiara Brown was next in line.
Nicolson has said she feels confident that she can beat Tiara Brown.
“It’s frustrating a little bit because I feel like I’m gonna make Tiara look silly. And then I’m going to get the same responses again that she was cherry-picked, that she wasn’t the best Tiara Brown on the night, or she hasn’t had the big lights and the occasion.”
She also has exclaimed her frustrations when people judge her opponents based on her performance.
“There’s always excuses instead of just saying, actually, Skye made her look bad on the night because Skye’s a better boxer.”
Despite the Tiara Brown fight being up next for Nicolson she has conveyed disappointment that Serrano isn’t on the card.
“I think the likely outcome is gonna be that I’ll probably have to fight for vacant belts to become undisputed, which was not the way I wanted it to be. At the end of the day, I can only control what I can control, and, for whatever reason, Serrano doesn’t want to give me that opportunity..”
Skye Nicolson Has Her Own Suitors-
Although Nicolson has been feared within the division, one female who isn’t scared to fight is Ellie Scotney.
Scotney, on the back of her win against Mea Motu, has welcomed a fight between the two.
“I’M LOOKING AT FEATHERWEIGHT AND SKYE NICOLSON’S A FIGHT I WANT, I’LL BE PUSHING FOR THAT TOO. YOU CAN SEE THE ACTION HERE, IT’S A FIGHT THAT CAN BE MADE.”
The two have had great success both in the ring and commercially for Matchroom, so a future bout between the two could be very enticing for Eddie Hearn.
