Seksan Expects A War Against Yutaro Asahi At ONE Friday Fight 58

Seksan Or Kwanmuang is one of the biggest stars to break out of ONE Championship’s Friday Fight series.

Across eight bouts, the Thai striker has put on one scintillating display after another to remain unbeaten so far in his promotional tenure.

That blistering form has led to many new things for Seksan and his loved ones, and he’ll look to continue it when he meets Japanese newcomer Yutaro Asahi inside Bangkok, Thailand’s Lumpinee Boxing Stadium at ONE Friday Fights 58: Superbon vs. Grigorian on Friday, 5th April.

“Last year was the best year since I started this career. It was the most successful year for me. My life has changed a lot. The quality of life with my family has greatly improved,” he said.

Although he has amassed an impressive streak in ONE Championship, “The Man Who Yields To No One” refuses to be overly confident.

He knows that anything can happen after the bell rings, so he’s been doing his homework on Asahi ahead of their bout.

Thus, Seksan believes he has an idea of how his debuting foe will approach their bout, and he’s prepared a plan to put him down for the count early.

“I watched his fight videos, and I think he has great combinations and slick movement. I can’t underestimate him because I know every fighter that ONE sends to me are all elite level. This fight will be another tough job for me,” he said.

“I think he plans to wage war on me. He wants to go toe-to-toe with me. He won’t give in easily. If I can knock him out, I will do it immediately. You can’t underestimate Japanese boxers. They’re heavy hitters with dangerous combinations. I know that I’m slower than him. But I will try to use my elbows a lot. I’ll try to knock him out quickly.”
