Rise and Conquer have begun announcing their May 21st fight card and it is looking to be a good one.
Mick Parkin, a 4-0 pro who was undefeated through eight amateur fights as well is back in action. This heavyweight clash gives Mick the chance to get his first win of 2022 and move to 5-0 as a pro. Fatih Aktas is making the fifteenth walk as a pro. This experience could prove to be dangerous. Let’s dive in.
Mick Parkin vs Fatih Aktas
Heavyweight clashes can be few and far between in the UK scene, but this one delivers. Mick Parkin enters undefeated throughout his entire MMA career. Nobody has been able to top Mick in either the amateur or the pro ranks. If Mick pushes his pro record to 5-0, then he may definitely be fielding a couple of big calls.
In every single one of his wins, Parkin not only beat his opponent but finished him as well. Since turning professional, nobody has been able to even escape the first round against Parkin. In his most previous fight, Mick took out 7-7 veteran Ashley Pollard who has fought quite a few tough competitors. Mick walks into this one looking to make a statement, and Rise and Conquer gives him the opportunity to do so.
Fatih Aktas has seen his fair share of wins and losses, as he stands with a record of 6-8 coming in. A win in his fifteenth pro fight would stack up with the best of Aktas’ career. Although his record doesn’t look the best initially, he’s never lost to anyone who wasnt a quality fighter. Fatih is a true test for anyone looking to prove themselves coming up in the UK scene. On May 21st, either Mick Parkin moves to a perfect 5-0 or Fatih Aktas moves closer to a .500 winning percentage. Both men enter this one with high hopes, but we believe the true winners will be the fans when the cage door shuts.
