The 2023 PFL season kicked off last weekend with featherweights and light heavyweights battling to get their first points on the board. After a few lacklustre performances throughout the card, Brendan Loughnane saved the day with a flawless showing against Marlon Moraes. The Mancunian came out hunting for the finish, and he gave the fans what they wanted with a brutal leg kick KO on Marlon Moraes in the second round.
Heavyweights and Women’s featherweights take centre stage at The Theatre in the Las Vegas Virgin Hotel this Friday for PFL 2. It marks the PFL debut for the women’s 135lb weight class after replacing the women’s lightweight division.
A bout between the 2021 PFL champion Bruno Cappelozza and Matheus Scheffel tops the bill for the heavyweights. The pair previously fought last year at PFL 5, with Scheffel coming out on top via unanimous decision. Headlining for the women is last year’s lightweight champion, Larissa Pacheco, as she returns after earning a massive upset win over Kayla Harrison last time out. The Brazillian will take on former Bellator champion Julia Budd this Friday in Sin City.

The PFL returns to a Friday night schedule after their Saturday appearance last week.
For viewers Stateside, the prelims are on ESPN+ and start at 6:30 pm ET and 3:30 pm PT. The main card moves to ESPN but remains on ESPN+ and starts at 10 pm ET and 7 pm PT.
UK viewers can catch the prelims and main card at 11:30 pm and 3:00 am respectively, with both being streamed on DAZN for subscribers.
