The highly anticipated bout between Mikael Lawal and Isaac Chamberlain will headline at York Hall.
Boxxer announced that Lawal and Chamberlain will headline on their social media channels. They said:
“This Saturday’s chief support bout and undercard bouts will now relocate to the iconic York Hall in London, headlined by Mikael Lawal defending his British Cruiserweight title against bitter rival Isaac Chamberlain in one of the most keenly-anticipated domestic clashes of the year.”
Boxxer Promoter Speaks On ‘Huge’ Card: Mikael Lawal vs. Isaac Chamberlain
Boxxer’s Ben Shalom spoke to Sky Sports in the light of the news sharing his excitement for this weekends card.
“It’s a huge undercard, Isaac Chamberlain will be fighting Mikael Lawal for the British Cruiserweight title, one of the fights that have been talked about for a long few months now.” said Shalom.
“Sam Tilley will fight against Louie Green for the super-welterweight commonwealth title, Karriss Artingstall from the Olympics, a Olympic hero and bronze medalist in Tokyo, she fights and the story goes on for her.”
“A great night of boxing will go ahead on Saturday night, the team are working overtime right now to make sure everything goes ahead.” he added.
Two Rivals Ready for Intense Battle
Lawal and Chamberlain shared their willing to headline the show this weekend. Both fighters are looking to inflict damage as shown in their tense face-off on the Boxxer YouTube channel.
“I’m looking forward to it, I can’t wait to showcase what I’ve been learning in the gym.” said Lawal. He added “this is a fight that’s been building for quite a while, for it to be headlining a lot of people want to see this fight.”
Chamberlain vocalised to Sky Sports: “Captain save the show, October 21st its still going down, Chamberlain versus Lawal for the British and Commonwealth Cruiserweight titles.”
