Marshall Fighting Championship (MFC) is set to return to Slovakia on May 27th, 2023, with the co-main event of MFC 2 being the 71kg Lethwei Championship.

The event will see undefeated local hero Michal Kosic go head to head with Toby Bindon (1-2 BKFC, 13-4 Muay Thai) from the United Kingdom, who will be making his Lethwei debut.

Fans are eagerly anticipating this event as both fighters have an impressive record and have proven their skill in various fighting competitions.

Ladies and gentlemen, #MFC2 proudly presents the ULTIMATE collision of raw power and technique in the world's most brutal combat sport – #Lethwei!

MFC 2 Co-Main Event

Michal Kosic is a force to be reckoned with in the world of Lethwei, having won every single fight of his career so far.

Including his five round war with Daniel Larivierie at MFC 1, where Kosik was victorious.

The Slovakian fighter embodies the spirit of the sport, using his relentless offense and unbreakable defense to dominate his opponents.

On the other hand, Toby Bindon comes from a Muay Thai and Bare Knuckle background and is regarded as one of Britain’s top prospects.

Despite not having any experience in Lethwei, Bindon’s remarkable punching ability and agility make him a formidable opponent for Michal Kosic.

The 71kg Lethwei Championship will be fought over five rounds, with both fighters battling it out for the championship belt.

Alongside Bindon’s lethal punching techniques, he will need to adapt to the rules of Lethwei, which differ from his BKFC experience.

Lethwei’s Rules permit fights using head butts, elbow and knee strikes, and clinching, amongst others.

These techniques can set Lethwei aside and make the sport much more intense in comparison with boxing or MMA.

What the Fighters Say

Talking about the upcoming fight, Toby Bindon expressed his excitement to make his Lethwei debut and test his skills against the undefeated Lethwei Champion, Michal Kosic.

Bindon said, “My thoughts on the fight it’s going to be a lot violence, I’m excited to be fighting lethwei and use all my weapons and skill set.

Kosik is a tough man & the champion, so to beat a champion you have to take it from him dominantly “.

The 71kg Lethwei Championship between Michal Kosic and Toby Bindon will be held in Slovakia, where the spectators will witness one of the most exciting and aggressive sports.

This fight is not one to be missed, and fans from all over the world are excited to see who will come out on top.

It will be a clash of two warriors as Michal Kosic aims to defend his undefeated record, while Toby Bindon vies for his first Lethwei championship belt on the live event.

The Main Event of MFC 2, will see Dave Leduc defend his Openweight Lethwei World Championship against Samnang in the headline bout of the night in Slovakia on May 27th, 2023 in what will be his retirement fight.
