It comes after Aspinall shared a petition demanding the UFC to make jones vacate his heavyweight title.
Fans are starting to become restless as the fight still has no date pencilled in at the moment.

Months of speculation has led to questions about whether a fight between Jones and Aspinall will even happen. Michael Bisping revealed a reason as to why the fight is delayed. Speaking on his YouTube channel, the former middleweight champion said, “This is one of the most highly anticipated fights in all of UFC history. You can’t just announce it, ‘Oh, the fight is going to happen’. No.
“A fight of this magnitude, the UFC wants to do a proper job. The UFC wants to announce it in spectacular fashion. They will have a press conference, they want the world’s media there. They don’t want someone on YouTube or whatever going, ‘Yeah, that fight’s happening’.
Michael Bisping went on to say, “Even when I was fighting, my fights, I wasn’t allowed to announce them. They wanted to announce them in the proper way to make sure all the world’s media is there. So it gets all the coverage that it deserves.
Tom Aspinall shares petition to strip Jon Jones of his heavyweight title
Michael Bisping believes the UFC will host a grand event to officially announce this super fight. Tom Aspinall took matters into his own hands. The British fighter shared a petition demanding that the UFC strip Jones of his heavyweight title. The petition currently has over 150,000 signatures.
Furthermore, frustration is mounting from fans as Jones hasn’t fought since beating Stipe Miocic, and Aspinall’s last fight was against Curtis Blaydes a year ago. Aspinall talked about the mental fatigue he has had out of camp, and his father demanded that the UFC sort it out. However, with Dana White threatening to strip Jon Jones of stripping him of his title, it could spark an end to this long-drawn-out saga.
