Sean O’Malley claimed the UFC bantamweight championship. After an early knockout left long-term champion Aljamain Sterling in his wake at UFC 292. Before immediately calling out Marlon Vera, who swiftly responded.
Former foe, Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera picked up a decision win over Pedro Munhoz on the same card. ‘Chito’ had some strong words for Suga Sean, making it clear he wants the next shot at the belt.
The two fought previously, almost exactly 3 years to the day. With Vera handing O’Malley, to this date, his only loss within the promotion. A result in which O’Malley has claimed ever since doesn’t count because of the manner in was stopped. Vera took full advantage of a nasty leg injury O’Malley sustained either during or before the fight. Before a nasty ground elbow left the compromised O’Malley on the ground.
Marlon Vera Calls for Rematch
When asked whether he wants the O’Malley fight next, Vera replied; “I mean..we go again, I [will] beat his fu**ing a** again”.

Vera was then asked if he believes he lives rent free in O’Malley’s head; “I think he likes me that’s what I think. I think he [O’Malley] is in love with me.”
Sean O’Malley Responds
After his historic win, O’Malley was quizzed about his thoughts on Vera’s fight earlier on own the night. O’Malley said; “Did Chito win? Was it boring? Probably,” O’Malley continued. “I’ll whoop Chito’s ass in December in Las Vegas at T-Mobile. Let’s f*****g go, baby!”
In response to this, Vera tweeted a simple yet effective reply; “Send me [contract] ok.”

Prior to this, Vera also tweeted; “Take a seat kids.” A further tweet from Vera, with a bunch of money bag emojis, made it be known what he wants next.
