Scotland’s Mark Ewen has remained unbeaten as a professional as he defeated Adrian Sanchez at EFC 95. He secured a second-round submission after a near-perfect showing via D’Arce choke.
EFC 95 took place at the EFC performance institute in South Africa. As EFC become more and more of a global force.
The first round began with Mark Ewen taking the centre and controlling the cage. Ewen spent much of the early moments analysing his opponent. Only unleashing when his opponent was caught with his back on the cage. In one of these exchanges, Ewan dropped Sanchez and followed him to the ground. Nearly finishing him with ground and pound.
As the second started, Ewen just looked too good for Sanchez, and grounded him against the cage, working to damage. Sanchez however, reversed position, landing some strikes and trapping Ewen’s arm. Ewen once again ended up on top and as the last twenty seconds dawned, Mark Ewen locked in a D’arce choke, forcing a quick tap.
That makes it 3-0 with a 100% finish rate.
