Leon Edwards has attempted some mind games at the UFC 304 press conference face-off with #1 contender and opponent Belal Muhammad. Edwards tried to startle his opponent by lunging at him when the two came face to face at the UFC 304 press conference. The attempt came with little to no reaction from Belal who wasn’t giving a single thing away when the two came together.

Leon Edwards Wasn’t in Fear Earlier This Week-
This isn’t the first interaction Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad have had this week, with the two meeting inside an elevator at the fighter hotel. Muhammad claimed that Leon Edwards had shied away from the conflict between the two but UFC embedded saw all. This included a scene of Leon Edwards and his team staring down Belal and calling him names when leaving the elevator, eliminating Belal’s claim that Edwards was avoiding him.
This fight marks Leon Edwards’ 3rd title defense after beating Kamaru Usman twice and Colby Covington in his last three. Belal Muhammad comes into the battle on a 10-fight winning streak following a long road to a title shot. Saturday’s bout isn’t the first time the two will enter the cage together, as they came against each other back in 2021.
The contest ended in a no-contest after Edwards landed an accidental eye poke in the second round. Bad blood has risen between the two ever since with Belal hunting down a shot at Edwards for years and Leon dismissing him at every opportunity possible.
UFC 304 also sees the first championship double header in the United Kingdom with Tom Aspinall taking on Curtis Blaydes in another rematch.
