Kron Gracie responded to critics claiming he shouldn’t be on the main card ahead of UFC 310.
Gracie who is returning from a eighteen month layoff is set to face off against Bryce Mitchell in Vegas.
Mitchell himself is making a comeback following his brutal KO loss to Josh Emmett.
Kron Gracie Fires Back at Critics
Following the announcement that Kron Gracie and Bryce Mitchell would be on the main card at UFC 310, fans were left confused by the UFC’s decision. Both fighters are making their respective returns following losses and haven’t fought since 2023. Speaking to MMA Fighting Kron Gracie said; “I think it’s funny because the people always have something to say. It’s interesting that people who would complain about something like that are probably the people who are not even paying for the pay-per-view, they’re streaming it for free. You’re stealing the pay-per-view and they’re the ones complaining about where the fight is.
“I don’t see why it’s such a big deal obviously because I don’t really care about that kind of situation. But I think that the placement of the fight is kind of not the most important thing and I don’t care where I’m at on the card. The sooner, the better really. I get to go on with my life after that.”
Gracie Previews Bryce Mitchell Encounter
As well as this Kron Gracie spoke in lengths about how difficult his upcoming fight would be. The American said: “I’ve always had Bryce on my mind because I always thought he was a potential opponent because I knew he had a big name. So I don’t see why he wouldn’t be on the main card.”
Bryce Mitchell is ranked 15th in the featherweight division. He was touted as a future champion and contender for the belt. Having dominated in the early part of his UFC career Mitchell suffered his first setback to Ilia Topuria who submitted the American. Despite this Bryce Mitchell bounced back with a decision victory over Dan Ige. However, that success didn’t last long with Mitchell being brutally KO’d by Josh Emmett in his last fight.
