Kevin Holland is coming off a crushing defeat against the up-and-coming Australian fighter Jack Della Maddalena. It was the first time the American competitor had tasted defeat at welterweight. It was a competitive contest where the judges had it as a split decision. Holland is known as an incredibly active fighter and, after the loss, looks to get back into the Octagon as soon as possible. There is a particular fighter on his mind: Neil Magny.

Kevin Holland Is Always Up For A Fight

As previously stated, Holland is known for being very active and is up to fight anyone. He is also known for his flashy style and entertaining personality. Holland has shown an ability to knock people out on the feet but recently has shown a grappling side to his game. He is coming off a loss to Della Maddalena and will look to get back to winning ways as soon as possible. Ever since moving down from 185, Holland has looked very impressive and shown that he could be a top contender in the future. Taking on someone like Magny could be the best way to show everyone he can be a top contender.

Magny Is Always Game

Like Holland, Magny is also coming off a loss. In his most recent UFC action, the rising Ian Garry bested the American fighter. Magny has been a mainstay in the welterweight division for many years now. He has become somewhat of a gatekeeper as he is usually a test for rising fighters. He has been in the octagon with many great athletes and likely wouldn’t shy away from Holland’s challenge. A big win over Holland could prove Magny is going nowhere at 170.

Holland Calls For Fight

Holland went into the Della Maddalena contest as an underdog. He put in a competitive showing against the Australian. It was a brutal fight to score, especially for the judges. However, that is now done with, Holland looking for a new challenge, and why can’t that be Mangy? A fight between the two makes a lot of sense. They are both at similar stages in their career and need a big win to jumpstart another run at the title. It would be an exciting clash as they are both decent on the feet and immense grapplers. Holland called for the Mangy fight over his Instagram story.

“Props to Jack, good guard, I’d like to watch it back!” he wrote on an Instagram story. “I see you all talking about poor performance. I honestly thought I outworked, dude, but what the hell do I know? For those who ride with me, how about Neil Magny? Loser cuts their hair.”

It would be an intriguing fight, and many fans would like to see the pair square off inside the UFC octagon.
