Dan Azeez and Joshua Buatsi compete for light heavyweight gold in a Wembley showdown on Saturday night where an undefeated record will be lost.
Azeez most notably stopped Rocky Fielding back in December 2022. By stopping the former world champion contender Azeez took the British and the Commonwealth light heavyweight titles.
Buatsi has faced several criticisms over the past few years for not having a ‘proper name’ on his resume. The closest that the Ghanaian-born has to a big name is Craig Richards, whom he beat in the O2 Arena via unanimous decision. Now at 30 years old, Buatsi needs to push on in his career and start stepping up in level every fight.
Also on the card is fan favourite Adam Azim who is 10-0 with seven victories coming by way of knockout. He takes on fellow unbeaten Enock Poulsen in his biggest challenge up-to-date. Poulsen enters as the EBU European champion in his first fight outside of his native Denmark.
One man who splits opinions throughout the boxing community is the extremely talented but arrogant Ben Whittaker. Whittaker takes on Khalid Graidia in an eight-rounder that many will hope to see the Brit take seriously with less showboating in the ring. His exciting style led to him being cautioned by the referee in his last fight as he was talking to the audience whilst evading punches.
Where To Watch Dan Azeez Vs. Joshua Buatsi
The main event ring walks are due to take place at around 10 pm Saturday night. The fight will go down on:

What Do The Odds Say?
Buatsi is a heavy favourite for the weekend despite Azeez passing every test to date with flying colours.
Joshua Buatsi – 2/7 or 1.28 (WilliamHill)
Dan Azeez – 31/10 or 4.10 (888Sport)
Both men have the ability to finish this fight. Azeez has finished eight of his last 12 opponents. Whereas Buatsi has finished 10 of his last 12.
This fight will be closer than those odds suggest and Azeez, the older and slightly more experienced fighter could easily cause an upset on Saturday night.
