Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz have been going at it on social media in the past few days.
“The Notorious” Conor McGregor hasn’t been active from the UFC due to his injuries but has been active on social media. With the recent controversy of 10-8 rounds at UFC Noche, McGregor made a comment about one of his old fights.
“Was round 1 where I dropped Nate once, and round 2 where I dropped Nate twice, scored 10-8s? They shoulda been, it was a cake walk on points.”
McGregor and Diaz fought for the first time at UFC 196 back in March of 2016. Diaz, on short notice, got the submission win in round 2 with less than a minute left. The two fighters saw each again, later that year at UFC 202. Conor McGregor got the win in the exciting rematch by majority decision.
Nate Diaz Claps Back at Conor McGregor
Nate Diaz took it personal and replied back to Conor.
“When I killed you off, I should’ve never gave you a rematch. I never get a rematch especially when I don’t really lose like n our 2nd fight or my last fight. I just let u pussy run off into sunset like you won .. Live with it ur both pussys”
McGregor replies back to him.
“You’ll get your rematch, lad.”
Needless to say, no love lost between the two foes.
When Conor McGregor was on “TalkSports”, he mentioned his plans for his return to the UFC. McGregor has a 3 fight plan. First, to oppose Michael Chandler, who coached the opposite team on TUF. Secondly, fight the current BMF champion, Justin Gaethje. And lastly, completing the trilogy done with the aforementioned Nate Diaz. Let’s see how well his plans will do and if it will come to fruition.
