Cameron “Camchida” Else makes his anticipated UFC return this weekend in the beloved UFC Apex, taking on Chinese fighter Qileng “Mongolian Murderer” Aori (18-9) in the Bantamweight division.

Though things didn’t go to plan last time, “Camchida” will be looking to turn eyes in his upcoming bout. Every one of his victories (6 TKO, 4 SUB) had a quick and aggressive start, with all ten career wins coming in the first round and hopefully another quick night in the office.

Else has previously fought under the Cage Warriors banner, where he made his debut at CWFC. In this fight, he took on an undefeated Paddy Pimblett and finished him with an Anaconda choke 35 seconds into the bout. He handed “The Baddy” his first professional loss.

Following this victory, Else traded wins and losses fighting in a variety of promotions including CW, BAMMA, Bellator; before going on an incredible 6-fight win streak with 4 KO/TKO victories and 2 submissions prior to his UFC debut.

Mongolian Murderer

This is Qileng Aori’s third fight within a year, where he lost the last two via unanimous decisions, which were his first two fights under the UFC. Aori is a dangerous fighter who was riding a 6-fight win streak prior to this. Amidst his streak, he demonstrated that he is always deadly but can also hang in a fight for the full 15 minutes if necessary, with five wins via KO/TKO, two by sub, and 11 via decision.

Aori is still only 28 and has a wealth of experience for his age which could prove troublesome.

Is Cameron Else going to regain his momentum with another first round finish?
