Cage Warriors 147 arrives at the BT Sport Studio in London, England Sunday, November 20th. Cage Warriors hosts its third straight week in England with another talent-heavy card. The preliminary card begins at 1:30 pm ET/ 6:30 pm GMT, followed by the main card at 4 pm EST/9 pm GMT. The entire card will be available on UFC Fight Pass.
The full 9-fight card will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass. The main event features lightweight champion George Hardwick (10-1) putting his title on the line for his first defence against Scottish veteran Chris Bungard (17-7). Bungard is coming off a close split decision victory over Erick da Silva at Cage Warriors 142, earning him a shot at the lightweight title. Hardwick is on a 6-fight win streak between Bellator and Cage Warriors, five of those coming by way of finish. His resume earned him a shot at the vacant Cage Warriors lightweight title against Kyle Driscoll, where Hardwick dropped Driscoll with a devastating body shot in the 4th round for the TKO victory.
The Cage Warriors 147 co-main event features former featherweight champion Morgan Charreire (15-9-1) taking on streaking newcomer Daniel Bažant (7-3). Charriere lost his title to Jordan Vucenic at Cage Warriors 122 before facing Paul Hughes, the current champ, at Cage Warriors 128 in a number one contender’s matchup, where he lost a majority decision. Bažant is a newcomer to Cage Warriors, entering the organization on a three-fight win streak, including his most recent, a first-round knockout of UFC veteran Iuri Alcântara.
