Milad Ahady improved to 4-1 with a victory over Antonio Sheldon at CW 135. The pair put on a thrilling fight for the fans in Manchester. Both fighters quickly got acclimated in their promotional debuts. Firstly, Shady knocked Sheldon down in the first minute. Then, he was on his back by the end of the round.
Ahady delivered a stronger second round. While mixing in strong takedowns and putting together combinations against Sheldon, he wore his opponent down for much of the round.
Ahady ends the round in a dominant position, with Antonio Sheldon noticeably fatigued. Sheldon came out of the corner looking strong and throwing heavy shots while attempting a choke after an Ahady takedown. Ahady secured another takedown shortly thereafter and controlled the grappling exchanges for the remainder of the round. The fight ended with Ahady a dominant position, where he secured the decision.
Ahady impressed in his performance, with the commentary mentioning him as a potential title contender in the future.
