Almighty Fighting Championship is set to return to the Barnsley Metrodome on May. 27 for Almighty Fighting Championship 30.
The English-based promotion is coming off a successful event which also took place in the Barnsley Metrodome earlier this February. The main event saw Joe Ambler write his name into the promotions history books by becoming the first two-weight division champion after defeating Blain McGill by unanimous decision. The co-main event featured an amateur bantamweight title fight between those of the country’s best, which Dylan McGee claimed after submitting Tamas Jakab in the fourth round.
With all the success in England over the years, owners Ray Thompson and Liam Cann are set to take the show to a new location in the Summer, North Wales. Almighty Fighting Championship 31 will go down at the Deeside Leisure Centre on July 1, 2023.
However, until then, the full focus is on Almighty FC 30, and Mr Almighty himself, Ray Thompson, recently revealed the full fight card to Combat Sports UK.
