GLORY: COLLISION 4 took place on October 8, 2022, at the GeleDome in Arnhem, Netherlands. Seeing a victorious return to kickboxing for legend Alistair Overeem.
In the main event, Badr Hari and Alistair Overeem completed their trilogy, with Overeem rallying to win via unanimous decision. Down two rounds on the judges’ scorecards entering the third and final round, Overeem knocked Hari down twice, earning a 10-7 score for the round and, ultimately, the victory.
Alistair Overeem Calls Out the King
Post-fight was as action-packed as the fight, with Overeem declaring that he’s the true Champion causing Rico Verhoeven dubbed ‘The King of Kickboxing’ and the official Heavyweight Champion, to enter the ring and make his feelings felt.
The surprising peacemaker was Badr Hari, who called for respect from the athletes as he appeared to announce his retirement.
In the co-main event, Tiffany Van Soest defended her Super Bantamweight title, defeating Sarah Moussaddak by unanimous decision.
Sergej Maslobojev earned the vacant Light Heavyweight title by defeating Tarik Khbabaez via split decision in a back-and-forth war.
Tyjani Beztati and Petchpanomrung defended their Lightweight and Featherweight titles, respectively, with Beztati winning by split decision and Petchpanomrung winning by unanimous decision.
