UKFC added another matchup to their card when they announced Aftab Javed would fight Leon Williams. Taking place at a 64kg catchweight, the two men will go to war and attempt to build momentum.

Aftab Javed is a tough contender out of Reps MMA. Although he is coming in off the back of three losses, his training intensity is ramping up as the date draws closer. Possessing a very rounded game, Javed has put others away with a 50% finish rate. You can expect that he will look to replicate earlier form after two years out of the cage and show he is not somebody to be slept on.
Leon Williams enters this fight off a stoppage victory last December. The Manchester Top Team standout will look to continue his momentum against a tough fighter in Javed, never accepting any easy fights. Williams has an 80% finishing rate and looks to continue that on March 12th.
The two will go to war in an attempt to build some much-needed momentum. An impressive win from either may make a case towards contending for a title in a set weight division moving forwards. This will be a battle where two men just look to step forward and win by any means necessary, which is what fight fans always like to see.
