Cage Warriors 137 has just taken place, one fighter on the card was Next Generation MMA’s, Adam Cullen. Formerly 4-0 with four finishes inside the first round. Cullen continued his streak and extended both his winning and finishing streaks.
Competing in the fourth fight of the evening taking on Arnaud Kherfallah now 5-3. Cullen wasted no time, after saying he wanted a ten-second KO, he almost delivered. Storming out the gate, he dropped his opponent with seconds on the clock. Following his opponent, to the ground, he delivered some massive ground and pound and began chasing a submission.
Arnaud managed to find his feet, but only briefly, before being slammed back to the mat promptly. Adam who was in the driver’s seat from second one continued his domination and chased the finish. He soon got it after locking up an Anaconda Choke 1:21 into round number one.
Now 5-0 with an impressive finishing streak, Adam is only looking up. Only 24-years-old Cullen is surely aiming for the top of the lightweight division. In his post-fight interview, he said he when asked what was next “Work my way up to that belt”. “End of the year, beginning of next year”.
He also had an opponent in mind for his next outing when he took to the mic. “There is a cheeky little lightweight, who thinks he’s something. Yassine Belhadj.” “Running away, talking the talk” “It’s me and you next. You’re getting it”. What a fight that would be!
What do you think should be next for Adam Cullen?
