The UFC is set to return to our screens this weekend after taking last weekend off. This is when the UFC returns to the UFC Apex this Saturday, May 31, with UFC Vegas 107. This weekend’s card features a high-stakes women’s flyweight main event between Erin Blanchfield and Maycee Barber. Both fighters are currently ranked in the top 5 of the division, and this matchup will play a critical role in shaping the future of the flyweight division.
UFC Vegas 107 Main Event
Erin Blanchfield is currently the number 4-ranked flyweight and has rapidly established herself as one of the most dangerous and well-rounded prospects in the division. Known for her dominant grappling and elite cardio, she holds notable victories over Jessica Andrade and Talia Santos. A win this weekend could place her at the front of the line for a shot at the champion,
On the other side of the main event, Maycee Barber is currently ranked at number 5 and enters the fight on a six-fight win streak. With a striking-heavy style and improved fight IQ, Barber has evolved into a more complete martial artist since her early UFC days. However, she did unfortunately miss weight by 0.5 pounds during weigh-ins, turning this fight into a 126lbs catchweight fight.

The co-main event features a compelling lightweight fight between Mateusz Gamrot and L’udovít Klein. Mateusz Gamrot, a top 15-ranked fighter, will bring a pressure-heavyweight wrestling game. This is when he looks to bounce back after a recent loss against Dan Hooker. Klein, a dynamic striker from Slovakia, aims to break into the rankings with a signature victory.
Also being featured on the main card this evening is veteran kickboxer Dustin Jacoby. Dustin will be taking on Brazilian finisher Bruno Lopes in a light heavyweight clash. A women’s featherweight match-up will also feature as Ketlen Vieira will face off against Macy Chiasson. This fight was originally meant to be a bantamweight contest however, the fight got changed due to Ketlen Vieira having weight-cutting concerns.
