Deeside, Wales, is buzzing with anticipation as Almighty Fighting Championship 35 approaches, and one name on everyone’s lips is Lucas Carvalho. After a remarkable debut last year, fans are eager to see him back in action. Ahead of the fight, I caught up with Lucas to discuss his return to the cage and his thoughts on the upcoming bout.

“Things have gone the way I’ve made it. I’m an extremely hard worker, but most importantly, I’m an intelligent worker. I work my mind just as much as my body and it shows in everything I do,” Lucas shared when asked about life since his debut.

Reflecting on his lightning-fast victory in his first fight, Lucas expressed confidence:

“I did and although no one can expect a finish that quick, I expect no different from myself. The finish is always what I’m looking for, it’s what I drill and look for day in day out and I’ve been doing it for so long now the finishes come naturally to me. I knew I would’ve ended that fight in brutal fashion I just needed the opportunity to present itself and it just turns out it showed itself in the first 3 seconds.”

Lucas Carvalho Talks Almighty FC 35

Despite the brevity of his first fight, Lucas remains unfazed, stating:

“Absolutely not, God saw it fit to bless me with such a dominating win and that’s all I see. To add to that I know my skills and I’m not here to show my skills to any one, I’m here to win and grow my name this is merely the beginning.”

Regarding his upcoming opponent, Lucas acknowledged the changes in plans:

“I did have a long time to prepare, and yet our fight fell through because he chose to pull out on two different occasions. I’m now fighting Mamil Kobidov and I’m grateful to him for taking the fight, but the result will be no different to what it would have been against Vesca. One day we’ll match up again, but I’ve lost interest in that fight now.”

Lucas remains undaunted by Vesca’s experience:

“I’ve never been worried to fight anyone. He can have all the experience in the world, but stepping in with me and fighting me is a whole different continent of trouble. I thrive off adversity, and the harder the fight, the more excited I get.”

As fans prepare to watch him in action once again, Lucas assures them that they can expect nothing short of a spectacle:

“Those attending can expect the same as they did the first time, a spectacle, something you don’t want to miss! Whatever God chooses to bless me with, I’ll take, but know I’m looking to bring an overwhelming level of intensity.”
