As the anticipation builds for Goliath Fight Series 6 in Fife, Scotland, Oban MMA’s Ivan Lodbrok gears up for a unique challenge—a four-man bantamweight tournament with a £1000 prize and a shot at the title on the line. Here’s what Ivan had to say ahead of the big night:

With fight week upon us, Ivan reflects on his preparation and mindset. Despite returning from illness, he maintains a positive outlook, focusing on sharpening his skills rather than fixating on his opponents:

“My training is going well, I am returning from illness, but everything is fine. I focus more on my skills and don’t look at my opponents, there is no specific task to prepare for a specific opponent, I just hone my skills so that I can compete and have fun on the night.”

Entering a four-man competition presents a new challenge for Ivan, but one he eagerly embraces. His decision to participate stems from a desire to gain valuable experience and position himself for a title shot in his weight class:

“This is my first fight of this kind, and I agreed because I want to gain this experience for further development and fight for the title in this weight.”

As fight night approaches, Ivan remains focused on delivering an impressive performance. He assures fans that they can expect nothing less than a thrilling fight and expresses his determination to emerge victorious. Ivan confidently states:

“You can expect a good fight from me, and I will go to the end and win. But all I can tell you is that I see a big story ahead of me.”

Ivan Lodbrok prepares to seize the opportunity at Goliath Fight Series 6 and etch his name into the regional scene circuit.
