Jack Catterall returns for the 2nd time in 2025 against Harlem Eubank after losing to Arnold Barbosa earlier this year.
Catterall returns to the Co-Op arena against a fellow Englishman Harlem Eubank.
El Gato is looking to return to the win column against Eubank and has claimed that this fight is make or break.
Barbosa came to the Co-Op arena as a away fighter and defeated Catterall via a decision win.
It is a 2nd loss of Catterall’s record, after his controversial loss to Josh Taylor.
Also was a loss at number one contender status and a shot at Teofimo Lopez’s title.
Catterall has mentioned the importance of getting back to winning ways this Saturday.
“It means everything. Like every fight, it’s a big opportunity. I’m coming off the back of a defeat.”
He has also claimed that the name value alone is enough to motivate him.
Jack Catterall Is Excited By Domestic Dust Ups-
The fact that I’ve been given an opportunity to fight in Manchester, again headlining, against a Eubank, is a big moment. It’s a great domestic fight and I think it’s these fights that excite me the most. It means everything, and it always will.”
Despite the name value Catterall can’t quite tell what Eubank is going to bring to the table.
“Who knows? There’s a lot of questions to be asked from my side and Harlem’s. It’s not a question that I can answer, I guess, until after the fight.”
The fifth will be a debut at the Welterweight division for Jack Catterall, he will hope it goes better than previous opponent Josh Taylors Welterweight debut.
Taylor lost to Ekow Essuman earlier this year in his home country, Scotland.
After Catterall’s loss to Taylor it left him without a world title opportunity but he now believes he is ready for the task.
“I believe I’m world class, I’ve yet to achieve capturing a World Title. I believe it’s coming. I’d be stupid to believe that I’m not world class. I’d say Harlem is above average. He’s fought some domestic fights, guys that I fought quite a few years ago.”
Catterall has claimed he set the blue print for Eubank.
“He beat them, and he probably beat them in better style than me. I probably set the blue print for him. I’d say Harlem is a good fighter.”
