Invicta FC 52 kicks off in just over 24 hours from ReelWorks Denver, and the ladies have just finished stepping on the scales. The event will be headlined by current Strawweight champion Valesca “Tina Black” Machado (12-3) as she attempts her first title defense against Bellator veteran and SBG Ireland stand-out Danni “Mac” McCormack (6-2).

Both ladies were last in action in November at Invicta 50, with Machado taking part in the Strawweight tournament and defeating both Karolina Wojcik and Ediana Silva on the same night to capture 115lb gold. McCormack was also victorious in her outing, getting the nod from the judges over ONE veteran Maira Mazar (8-6).

The co-main event of the evening will see Karolina “Polish Assassin” Wojcik (10-3) taking on Ediana “Mel Pitbull” Silva (12-3) at 115lbs, as both fighters look to rebound after each of them lost to Valesca Machado in the aforementioned Strawweight tournament at Invicta 50.
