British Heavyweight Frazer Clarke claims he’s a “level above” prospect Johnny Fisher as he takes on Dave Allen this weekend.
Clarke has recently got back to winning ways beating Ebenezer Tetteh by KO on Easter Sunday but has a keen eye on this weekends Heavyweight battle.
The Olympic medalist has been vocal in claiming he is “a level above” Johnny Fisher but has welcomed a potential bout in the future.
“He’s a good young fighter but I’m on another level”
“It’s an interesting fight and depending how Johnny does on Saturday I think me and him would be a great match up, He’s got to get through Dave Allen first but it’s definitely something I would consider once that’s done and dusted.”
Clarke has respect for Fisher and his family but thinks a match up is worlds apart.
“I’ve got a lot of respect for Johnny and his family, they’re really nice people, but when it comes to me and him fighting, we’re worlds apart and I’m miles ahead of him.”
He may think a future match up would be great but he does have a past with Dave Allen, Fisher’s opponent this Saturday.
“I thought Dave Allen was hard done by to be honest but I’m not going to sit here and cry for Dave Allen. “When I boxed him, he was looking for a way out and almost got me disqualified, but it happens in boxing.
Clarke stopped Allen in the 6th round before going on to back to back fights with Fabio Wardley.
Frazer Clarke Is Interested In The Winner-
Big Fraze mentions he is interested in the fight and can’t seem to pick a winner.
“Saturday it will be interesting to see what changes they’ve both made and who will take the victory.”
Frazer Clarke took his first professional loss to Fabio Wardley last year by brutal KO which shattered his jaw but has recently got back to winning ways.
Clarke defeated Tetteh by KO in April but will now look to return to the level he once was projected to.
Fraze haș won Bronze at the Olympics before taking the late trip to the professional boxing game.
He is now 33 with only 11 fights behind so will look to fast track himself to potential world level.
