Canelo is to become boxing’s first billionaire boy after his manager claims a it will probably happen next year.
Canelo Alvarez has just set up a massive fight with Terrence Crawford after beating William Scull in a disappointing Riyadh debut.
The fight will come with a massive pay check from the new TKO promotion who will take control of promoting the event.
This massive pay check could potentially put him one step closer to becoming boxing’s billionaire.
His manager Richard Schaefer claims it could be as early as next year that the Mexican hits the financial goal of a billion.
“HE’S GOING TO BE THE FIRST FIGHTER TO BREAK THE BILLION DOLLAR NET WORTH… I HAVE ZERO QUESTIONS ABOUT IT. WHEN PROBABLY NEXT YEAR.”
The Crawford Canelo fight will be a giant matchup enough to put the fight in a stadium.
Two will face off in Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders, in the city of sin.
Canelo and Crawford Are Both Confident-
Both fighters are very confident in there abilities to get the job done and win the mega matchup.
Despite the stakes being so high it has started out very respectful between the two.
Canelo has claimed Crawford is one of the best out there.
“CRAWFORD IS ONE OF THE BEST OUT THERE AND I LIKE TO SHARE THE RING WITH THOSE KIND OF FIGHTERS.”
Crawford on the other hand has a message himself for all his doubters out there.
“WHEN YOU AT THE TOP EVERYONE HAS A DIFFERENT OPINION ABOUT YOU. LONG AS YOU KNOW WHAT’S REAL AND WHAT’S NOT IS ALL THAT MATTERS.
HISTORY WILL BE MADE SEPTEMBER 12TH.”
This fight will headline the very first TKO boxing event led and promoted by Dana White who has been endorsed to take over boxing.
The man endorsing him is Turki Alalshikh who has now helped both Crawford and Canelo by promoting each of there last bouts.
Canelo took on William Scull becoming undisputed once again at Super Middleweight.
Crawford jumped a few weight classes taking on Israil Madrimov and winning via decision.
This fight is one of the biggest in boxing at the moment and will only improve in size as the build up continues.
