Former UFC fighter Darren Till took to X (Twitter) to mock Bo Nickals’ UFC 309 performance.
The American who beat Paul Craig didn’t look at his best.
Even Daniel Cormier on commentary wasn’t impressed by Bo Nickal performance.
Darren Till criticises Bo Nickal
Darren Till and Bo Nickal has once again clashed once again on social media with the Liverpool fighter mocking the American’s performance at the weekend. Writing on X Till said; “Guy has talked so much s**t. Shit talked me since he came the UFC like I haven’t fought and beat top guys in there. Be more humble ya ginger tool cos ur s**t and Khamzat would destroy you.
It didn’t stop there as Darren Till continued his outburst and wrote; “Where is the lie? Ginger nuts isn’t ready for Khamzat.” Nickal who has constantly wanted to face Khamzat Chimeav since his debut in the UFC has most likely have to wait for the opportunity.
Chimeav who is close friends with Darren Till looks set for a UFC title fight following his dominant display against Robert Whittaker. Following on from this it seems highly unlikely the pair will clash with Nickal still unable to break into the top fifteen ranked middleweight.
Cormier unimpressed with Nickal
UFC 309 was meant to be about Bo Nickal showing the UFC that he is ready for tougher matchups. Faced off against Paul Craig who is an elite grappler the American backed off. Seemingly unwilling to engage with the Scot. Despite winning the fight in the end many fans and Daniel Cormier were left unimpressed with the performance.
Nickal said; “To hear things like [Daniel Cormier] say ‘oh he’s not ready for Khamzat’… It was a little disappointing to hear some of those comments from people I respect a lot.” Given how elite Chimeav wrestling skills are in the Octagon Nickal needs to stay strong in the exchanges when faced off with high output fighters.
