Martin Bakole has been the most feared and avoided Heavyweight in recent history and trainer Billy Nelson believes the big dogs are ducking him.
Bakole has been tearing up the whole of the Heavyweight division since his early loss to Michael Hunter including a massive KO win against Jared Anderson last year.
Despite some huge Heavyweight wins Bakole has struggled to get consistent match-ups which trainer Billy Nelson believes is due to the champions avoiding his challenger.
“Usyk will not fight Martin and it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if Daniel vacated rather than fight Martin as well. They’ve been in the ring with each other before. Martin will stop Usyk and he’ll obliterate Daniel Dubois. Martin wasn’t fully fit when he sparred Daniel, about 70% fit, and schooled him.”
Bakole’s Sparring Stories-
The two current Heavyweight champions have a past with the Congolese powerhouse both sparring Bakole which Nelson claimed his man managed to get the best of both of them.
Bakole has also claimed he’s stopped both Usyk and Dubois in the sparring sessions.
Martin Bakole mentioned that even Usyk’s manager praised Bakole as a future world champion in the division.
“I was live on Sky Sports and Oleksandr Usyk’s manager came behind me and said ‘This guy is going to be world champion tomorrow’ because he knows, who I am, he was in the gym when I gave Usyk a hard time.
Even going as far to say Usyk was nowhere near him and never touched him.
“Usyk never even touched me, I smashed him and knocked him out. I knocked him out with a body shot.
“I was getting out of the ring and they said he will need one week to recover.
Uysk is not the only boxing star who Martin Bakole has had issues with, being very outspoken about his dislike of Anthony Joshua and blasting him on social media.
Bakole will look to dislodge the belts and the champions in a big way this coming year.
Bakole’s aim is to become a world champion and a gigantic star in the heavyweight division.
